Hi there Folks,
Thanks for stopping to read this post
I just want to say that I am very happy with the Forum up to date and I think we have some really nice and knowledgeable Members onboard....I hope you would all agree??
Any way...I am naturally wanting to attract as many Members here as possible, who will keep on returning regularly to the Forum and who can add to its quality with their knowledge, personality and willingness to lend a helping hand or offer advice, where needed by fellow Members.
I am considering a possible Forum name change before we all get too comfy
...Well to be honest its more so that our name will be recognised by search engines such as Google and hopefully pop up in the top 3 options for people searching for hunting related Forums...if at all possible?...We need to bring’em in then keep’em here once they arrive.
Naturally I want to do this as cheaply as possible, without sacrificing quality and reliability.
I hope you would all agree with me when I say that this Forum has great potential as being a "working mans/woman’s Forum" where snobbery is never an obstacle and fun, friendship and good advice is readily available.
So to my point (Finaly I hear you cry lol)….should any of you have any suggestions or advice on how to bring in more Members, the design of the Forum, the name of the Forum, advertising, articles to run, reviews wanted, promotional ideas, competition ideas etc...etc...Then they will ALL be very gratefully received and given careful consideration.
Also... volunteer Moderators are needed, who can help me to run and maintain the Forum and to keep the standards high and to keep out the undesirables (that’s me out of a job then
lol).
But seriously… if you have a particular forte or particular area of knowledge/expertise/experience that you would like to share with the rest of the Members, then please let me know and I can arrange for you to have your own "Dedicated" section.
I would also like to be able to offer some form of reward scheme to people who run their own particular sections and who offer outstanding levels of support and advice to fellow Members, in time to come....of course this would be Membership figures permitting.
Any way...In closing, please let me thank you all for joining The Hunting Lodge and for your continued support.
Kindest regards,
Jase
